Four years ago, when Ingrid gained control, Vlad, the Count, Renfield and Zoltan fled for their lives, leaving Stokely forever... They bought a small, gothic school near Liverpool - Garside Grange - and moved their coffins in, in the hope that they would be so immersed in the human world that no vampire or slayer would think of looking for them there! Who’s going to notice a couple of vampires next to a load of worn out teachers?! Until Vlad is eighteen his dad will be his Regent and in charge, which drives Vlad mad as his father has a very unique way of seeing the world. However, he doesn’t take it lying down and like any other teenager he rebels against his dad - with entertaining consequences!
