The Zoo: Season 9
Returning for an incredible 9th season, The Zoo TV series will yet again give viewers unique access to the inner workings of one of the oldest zoos in the world, Dublin Zoo. While witnessing the birth of critically endangered Amur tiger cubs and three California sea lion pups, fans of the show will also accompany Zoo Operations Manager, Gerry Creighton, as he travels to the Kaziranga National Park in India, to witness the conservation work that Dublin Zoo supports. While there, he also hopes to realise a lifelong dream - to see Indian elephants in the wild. Along with this, we’ll get to follow the introduction of a new male gorilla, Bangui, the birth of two new giraffe calves and, among much, much more, we’ll get to see how the keepers at Dublin Zoo battled through some of the hottest weather Ireland has ever experienced to keep the animals cool and hydrated. With scenes of joy, heartbreak and intense raw emotion, The Zoo TV Series really does have something for all the family, and is certainly not to be missed.
