Disguising himself as a janitor, Santa travels to Riverside Academy, and with the help of his head elf, Randal, he scouts out the three boys he’s been assigned to convert. Farley Morgan and Steve Rojack are two spoiled troublemakers and Adam Claymore is angry and bitter after being put in a wheelchair following a car accident the previous year which took the life of his father. As the calendar moves relentlessly on toward the Christmas Eve deadline, Santa and Randal try everything - their nice and naughty lists, inside Santa information, blackmail, and a little Christmas magic, to change everybody’s idea of Christmas from being a time of receiving to a time of giving. However, their every attempt fails and both become resigned to impending unemployment. But what Santa doesn’t count on is that his efforts to change the boys’ idea of Christmas will also bring together Jeannie Claymore and Charles Morgan, Adam and Farley’s widowed, lonely parents. As the clock begins to chime midnight, each of the boys must give away the thing they most prize - Will Santa’s and Randal’s jobs be saved and will the true spirit of Christmas prevail, ensuring that every Christmas Eve night continues to be filled with the sound of ho-ho-ho?
